Privacy Policy

How Being Me collects, stores, and uses your personal information, and the rights you have over it.

Version 1.8 · Effective 9 June 2026 · Last updated 19 October 2026 · What changed
In plain English
The short version

This is a policy. It has to be precise to be useful, and the precise version is below. Here is the honest summary first:

  • You own your data. We hold it on your behalf.
  • We collect what you write inside Being Me, the settings you choose, and a few short records described in § 2. Nothing else.
  • No one at Being Me reads your coaching conversations, check-ins, REACH or Why. A person reads your goals' words, without your name, only if you switch that on.
  • What you post in a Community circle is seen by that circle's members. A goal is seen by a supporter only if you invite them to it. Nothing is shared unless you share it.
  • If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address to write to you about your place, when Being Me opens and launch offers, and nothing else. It is deleted when you unsubscribe, ask us, or create an account.
  • If you invite someone who is not a member, we keep their email address only until the invitation is used or expires after 14 days. The email never names your goal.
  • We ask for your birth month and year at signup, to check you are 18 or over. Not the day. Your coach never sees it.
  • When you talk to the coach, your message is sent to Anthropic in the United States to generate the AI response. Anthropic does not train its models on your data.
  • We do not sell your data. Ever. No ad networks, no tracking, and nothing shared with advertisers. If you turn on offers, the company making an offer never learns who you are.
  • What you write is never used to train AI, and never used for research.
  • Our administrators see goals without their words or their owner, totals, and posts or comments someone has reported (§ 6 lists everything they can see). Every time an administrator uses an admin screen, it is logged.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion at any time, from your Account page.
  • If you want to stop using Being Me, your data can be permanently erased within 30 days of your request.
§ 1

Who we are

This policy is published by Being Me ("Being Me", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the Being Me personal development platform. Being Me is based in Australia.

We are the data controller for the personal information you provide to us. For requests, questions, or complaints relating to your personal information, see § 12, How to contact us.

§ 2

What information we collect

We only collect information you choose to enter into Being Me. We do not track your activity outside the app and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Identity
Your name (or chosen display name) and an email address for account access and recovery.
Account
A record of what you agreed to when you joined (which version, and when), your plan, your region (so the coach offers the right crisis services), and the signup code you joined with.
Age
Your birth month and year, collected once at signup to confirm you meet the minimum age for an account. We do not ask for the day of your birth, and we do not ask again.

This is the one field you cannot change yourself. It exists to enforce an eligibility rule, and a rule you can edit after being refused is not a rule, so the app rejects any change to it. That is a deliberate design choice, not a limit on your rights: if it is wrong, email us at the address in § 12 and we will correct it.
Self-knowledge
Your REACH responses (Reflection, Experience, Achievement, Competence, Health & Habit), your core values, your life roles, and your personal Why and mission statement.

The Health & Habit part of REACH asks about your health, and check-ins can touch on how you are feeling, so what you write can include health and wellbeing information. You consent to that when you join. It is used only for your coaching (see § 3).
Goals
Your aspirations (the possible goals you write down), your goals, the underlying why for each goal, your PACTS plans, your progress and milestone records, and anything you save in Learning.
Community and support
Your handle, the circles you join, what you post and comment there, which posts you have marked Seen, the circles you hide, and invitations to circles between members. The supporters you invite to a goal, and the notes they write to you. Any report you make about a post, comment or member. If Being Me hides one of your posts or comments after a report, when it was hidden.
People you invite
If you invite someone who is not a member to support a goal: their email address, the message you write to them, and whether you asked them to be a supporter or a mentor. They have not agreed to anything, so we hold this only while the invitation is live: the address is deleted when the invitation is used, withdrawn, or expires after 14 days. The email carries your display name and your message, and never your goal.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist before you have an account: your email address, the words you agreed to on the form and when, which page you signed up on, and, only if you choose to tell us, how you heard about Being Me. To stop the form being misused, a scrambled form of your network address (never the address itself) is kept for one day.
Progress
Your answers when we ask "Has this helped?", anything you choose to write with them, and whether you have agreed that we may quote what you wrote. We quote only with that agreement, attributed only as "Founding Member", and you can withdraw it at any time.
Settings
Your theme, your coach tone, and three choices on your Account page, each off unless you turn it on: offers matched to your goals (no offers are made today), Help shape Being Me (a person may read your goals, without your name, to group them; see § 3), and Your story, without your name (we may use your story in our own writing; see § 3). Also, for each goal, whether it may receive offers; whether you want a reminder for your next check-in; and which one-time messages you have already seen or dismissed, so they are not shown again on another device.
Check-ins
Your check-in responses, your mood and values-alignment scores, and the next step you commit to.
Coach exchanges
The coach's replies to your check-ins are kept with your check-in history, and coach summaries you keep, such as your REACH summary, are saved with that part of the app. Other conversations with the coach are kept only in your browser tab, and are gone when you close it. What you send the coach goes to Anthropic to write the reply (§ 4).
Safety
When you send a message in the coach panel or write a check-in, the app first checks your words for signs that you may be at risk. If the check is triggered, the app shows you support and keeps a short record on your device: when, where in the app, how serious, what kind, your region (to show the right crisis services), and whether you chose to see support or said you were safe. Never your words. It stays in your browser on that device and is not sent to us. It is deleted after 12 months, and when you sign out.
Technical
Standard server logs (timestamps, basic device/browser information, IP address) for security and reliability. These are retained for no more than 30 days unless required for a specific security investigation. When a signup code is tried, a record of the attempt, keyed by network address, is kept for seven days to stop codes being guessed. Each time you use the coach, we record that you made a call and when, not what you said or what the coach replied, so we can apply a fair daily limit. That record is kept for 48 hours.

We do not collect: precise location data, contacts, photos from your device, advertising identifiers, or biometric data.

Health and wellbeing information is the one sensitive kind of information Being Me asks about, and we collect it only with the consent you give when you join. Anything else sensitive, such as your religion, sexuality or political views, is held only if you choose to write it, and is treated in exactly the same way.

§ 3

Why we collect it

We use your personal information only for the following purposes:

  • To run the coaching experience: your inputs are the entire substance of what Being Me does. Without them, the AI coach has nothing to coach on.
  • To personalise AI coaching responses: when you talk to the coach, we include relevant context from your profile (your values, your goals, your recent check-ins) so the AI's response is specific to you, not generic.
  • To help you see patterns: your check-in history is the basis for the longitudinal insight the coach surfaces, such as recurring obstacles or trending mood scores.
  • To let you share with, and be supported by, other people: only what you choose to post in a circle, and only the goals you choose to share with a supporter.
  • To keep circles safe: when someone reports a post or comment, a person at Being Me reads it, with the handle of the person who wrote it, the circle and, for a comment, the start of the post it replies to, to decide whether to hide it. They never see who made the report. A hidden post or comment disappears for other members; its author sees that Being Me removed it.
  • To understand what kinds of goals members set: only if you switch on Help shape Being Me on your Account page. Software may suggest a category first; a person at Being Me then reads your goals' words, without your name, and decides. Neither happens unless you have switched this on. Anything we say about categories outside Being Me uses totals drawn from at least ten people. Turning it off removes your goals from anything waiting to be read, straight away; categories already given stay, as labels without your words.
  • To suggest circles: the app matches the titles and life areas of goals you have made public to circles, and shows the suggestions only to you. Some circles are never suggested, including faith, recovery, grief, illness and neurodivergence.
  • To share what members say has helped them: only where you have agreed to be quoted, as described in § 2.
  • To tell members' stories in our own writing, such as a book about how people change, only if you switch on Your story, without your name, and never with your name or anything that identifies you.
  • To operate and improve the platform: including security, fraud prevention, the automated safety check described in § 2, and totals that never identify anyone.
  • To write to people on the waitlist about their place, when Being Me opens, and launch offers. Only to people who gave us their email for that on the waitlist form, and every email lets them unsubscribe.
  • To confirm you are old enough to hold an account: your birth month and year are checked once, at signup, against our minimum age. That is the only purpose they serve.
  • To meet legal obligations: for example, responding to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement under valid legal process.

Your age is never sent to the AI coach and plays no part in what it says to you. It is not used to personalise your coaching, to segment you, or to decide what you are shown. It answers one question at signup and is then left alone.

Health and wellbeing information is used to coach you. Beyond that, it appears only in totals that never name anyone, such as how members' REACH ratings change over time, and, if you have switched on Help shape Being Me, as a category on a goal shown without its words or your name. It is never used for offers, and the Health & Wellbeing and Mindset goal categories can never be opened to offers: the database refuses it.

We never sell your data, never use ad networks or tracking, and never share your data with advertisers. What you write is never used to train AI, ours or anyone's, and is not used for research.

Offers matched to your goals are opt-in only, and you can turn them off at any time. If you turn them on, Being Me may match offers to your goals. The matching happens inside Being Me: the company making an offer never receives your personal information and never learns who you are. Opting in today records your preference and nothing more, because no offers are made yet.

We send you marketing emails only if you have agreed to receive them, and every one lets you unsubscribe. Emails about your account and invitations you ask us to send are not marketing.

Your coach is an AI. It can be wrong, and it is not medical, psychological or other professional advice. About the AI explains what it is and is not for.

§ 4

Who we share it with

The only third parties that ever receive any of your personal information are the service providers that make Being Me technically possible.

Anthropic, PBC

When you message the AI coach, the contents of your message, together with the relevant context from your Being Me profile, are transmitted to Anthropic (a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco, California, United States) for the purpose of generating the coaching response. Anthropic provides the large language model that powers the coach.

Anthropic is bound by its own privacy commitments and, under its API terms, does not use customer API data to train its models. Anthropic's own privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Supabase Inc.

Account information and personal data entered into Being Me will be stored in a database hosted by Supabase (Delaware, United States), on servers in the United States (Amazon Web Services, US East), with Row Level Security configured so that one user cannot access another user's data.

So that the app keeps working if your connection drops, a copy of what you have written, your settings, and a record of any crisis support the app has shown you are also kept in your browser's storage on each device you use. It is removed when you sign out. Your vision board is the exception for now: it is kept only on the device where you make it, and is not yet stored with us.

Netlify, Inc.

The web pages of the Being Me application are served from Netlify (California, United States). Netlify receives standard server log information but not the substance of your coaching content.

Resend, Inc.

The emails Being Me sends are delivered by Resend (United States): the emails that confirm and secure your account, and invitations you ask us to send. Resend receives the recipient's email address and the content of that email. For an invitation, that is your display name and your message, never your goal. When we write to people on the waitlist, Resend will receive their email address and that email too.

Unsplash

Some vision board images are served by Unsplash. Your browser fetches these directly, so Unsplash receives your IP address and basic browser information when one of its images loads. It never receives anything you write. The typeface Being Me uses is served from our own site, so no font service receives anything.

Other members

Other members are not service providers, but they can see some of what you do: what you post or comment in a circle is seen by its members, and a supporter sees the goal you invited them to and the updates you share on it. Nothing else you write is visible to any other member.

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties. We do not engage in any form of data brokerage or sale.

§ 5

International data transfers

The service providers named in § 4 are based in the United States. This means your personal information will be transferred to, and processed in, the United States.

Where you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this transfer is made on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and (for UK transfers) the International Data Transfer Addendum. Each of our service providers maintains industry-standard safeguards.

Where you are located in Australia, this transfer is made in accordance with Australian Privacy Principle 8 ("Cross-border disclosure of personal information"). By using Being Me you acknowledge that your information will leave Australia for these processing purposes.

§ 6

How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. These include:

  • Encryption in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • Encryption at rest for stored data.
  • Row Level Security in the database, so each user can only access their own data.
  • No one at Being Me reads what you write: your coaching conversations, check-ins, REACH, Why or goals. The exceptions are when you send something to us yourself, for example in an email asking for help; when the law requires it; goals you have agreed may be read, under Help shape Being Me (§ 3); and a post or comment in a circle that someone has reported (§ 3).
  • Restricted technical access. Direct access to the database is limited to the people who keep the platform running (today, the founder), and is used only to keep it running and to fix faults, never to read what members write. It is separate from the admin screens below, and is not part of their record.
  • Admin screens without your words, except a reported post. Administrators see goals without their words or their owner; totals; quotes you have agreed to share; a post or comment someone has reported, with the handle of the person who wrote it, but never who reported it; and, to protect signup, the network addresses that repeatedly try wrong signup codes. The admin screens need a password and a second step, a code from an authenticator app. Every admin screen records who used it, which screen, when and how many rows, never the content. That record is kept for two years, and the admin screens cannot show, change or delete it.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we can, and will, apply the controls above and notify you of any breach that is likely to result in serious harm, in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Australian Privacy Act.

§ 7

How long we keep it

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your data, we will permanently remove it from our active systems within 30 days of receiving your request, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons (for example, financial records of subscription payments, which we are required to keep for seven years under Australian tax law).

Server logs are retained for no more than 30 days unless a specific security investigation requires longer retention.

An invitation to someone who is not a member lasts 14 days. When it is used, withdrawn or expires, their email address is deleted. Records of signup-code attempts are deleted after seven days. Records of when you used the coach are deleted after 48 hours, and at once if your account is deleted. The safety record on your device is deleted after 12 months, and when you sign out. The record of admin screen use is kept for two years; it holds nothing you wrote. A post or comment Being Me hides after a report is kept, out of sight, for 12 months as the record of what happened, then deleted; while it is hidden you cannot edit or delete it yourself, but deleting your account deletes it straight away.

A waitlist entry is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, or until you create an account, when it is deleted. Anyone still on the waitlist 12 months after Being Me opens to everyone is removed. The scrambled network address kept to stop the form being misused is deleted after one day.

When an account is deleted, we keep one line about it, so we can understand how long members stay: the month it was created, its plan, how many days it lasted, and the date it was deleted. It holds no name, no email address and nothing written.

If you turn off Help shape Being Me, your goals leave the review queue at once. If you turn off Your story, without your name, we will not use your story in anything new.

If you withdraw your agreement to be quoted, we stop using the quote. Anything already published is removed from our own pages.

Your birth month and year are kept for as long as your account exists, and are deleted with it. We keep them rather than discarding them after the signup check so that we can demonstrate, if asked, that the account was checked, and so that a future change to the minimum age can be applied to accounts that already exist.

§ 8

Your rights

You have the following rights over your personal information. They apply regardless of where you live; some jurisdictions add further rights on top.

Universal rights
  • Access: see exactly what we hold about you.
  • Correction: fix anything that is inaccurate or out of date. Most things can be changed directly in the app; your email address and your birth month and year are corrected on request (see § 2 and § 12), and we will make the correction for you.
  • Deletion: request permanent erasure of your data.
  • Portability: ask for a copy of your data, from your Account page, in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON).
  • Withdraw consent: at any time, for any processing that relies on your consent. The three choices in § 2 are switches on your Account page.
Australia (Privacy Act 1988)

You have the rights set out under the 13 Australian Privacy Principles. If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may complain to us in the first instance (see § 12) and, if unresolved, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR & UK GDPR)

You have the rights set out under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR (or UK GDPR), including the right to object to processing, the right to restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share, but you have the right regardless), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the above.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in § 12. We will respond within 30 days.

§ 9

Children

Being Me is for people aged 18 and over.

This is enforced when an account is created, not discovered afterwards. If you tell us a birth month and year that puts you under 18, no account is created at all: there is no record to hold and nothing for us to delete, because nothing was written. Your email address and password are never sent to us.

The check is made once, at signup, and cannot be edited afterwards. It relies on what you tell us; we do not verify it against any external source, and we do not ask you to prove your age with a document.

We have set the minimum at 18 rather than 16 deliberately. Being Me involves an AI coach and a community of other members, and doing either of those well for a sixteen or seventeen year old means building things we have not built yet. We would rather not admit people we cannot yet serve properly. If that changes, this section will change with it and the change will be recorded below.

If you believe someone under 18 holds an account, please contact us at the address in § 12 and we will close it and delete the data associated with it.

§ 10

Cookies and tracking

Being Me does not use third-party advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or social media tracking pixels.

We use local storage in your browser to keep you signed in on that device until you sign out, to remember that you have completed onboarding, to keep a copy of what you have written so the app works if your connection drops, to hold changes that have not reached us yet, to keep the day's coach greeting, and to keep the safety record described in § 2. This is functional, not tracking. It is removed when you sign out, except your theme, your region and your vision board, which stay on that device.

§ 11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the version number and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and add an entry to the changelog at the foot of it saying what changed and why.

Not every change deserves the same interruption. A policy that stops you at the door for a corrected typo teaches you to dismiss the notice without reading it, and then the notice that matters gets dismissed too. So we treat changes in three tiers:

Material
A new category of information, a new third party receiving your data, a new purpose we use it for, or a reduction in your rights. We will tell you in the app, show you what changed, and ask you to agree again before the change applies to your account.
Substantive
A clarified retention period, a changed provider region, a new security measure, a change to who may hold an account. We will tell you in the app. You do not need to do anything.
Housekeeping
Typos, formatting, contact details, clearer wording that does not change meaning. Recorded in the changelog only.

Product announcements and feature news are never delivered through this mechanism. If we interrupt you about a policy, it is because of a policy.

Every superseded version of this policy stays available at a permanent link in the changelog, so that if you agreed to an earlier version you can always read exactly what you agreed to.

§ 12

How to contact us

For any question, request, or complaint relating to your personal information, including to exercise the rights set out in § 8, please contact us:

Privacy Officer · Being Me
Privacy & Data Requests
Email: privacy@beingme.me
Postal: [Postal address to be added before public launch]
Response time: within 30 days, usually much sooner.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator. For Australian users, that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

What has changed, and when

Every version of this policy is listed here, newest first, with what changed and whether it required you to agree again. Superseded versions stay readable at the links below.

v1.8 · 19 Oct 2026
Material.

§ 3 and § 6: when someone reports a post or comment in a circle, a person at Being Me now reads it, on an admin screen, to decide whether to hide it. They see the words, the handle of the person who wrote them, the circle and, for a comment, the start of the post it replies to. They never see who made the report. Every report opened is recorded in the admin screens' record. Until now a report could only be read directly in the database, which § 6 said was never used to read what members write.

§ 6: the admin screens now need a password and a second step, a code from an authenticator app.

§ 2 and § 7: a hidden post or comment is kept, out of sight, for 12 months as the record of what happened, then deleted. Its author sees that Being Me removed it and cannot edit or delete it while it is hidden; deleting their account still deletes it straight away.

A new purpose makes this a material change under § 11. Every account created before this date was a test account held by the founder, so no one was asked to agree again; members agree to this version when they join. Read version 1.7
v1.7 · 19 Oct 2026
Housekeeping.

§ 4: wording only. Anthropic is still the company that receives what you send the coach, in the United States, to write its reply, and it still does not train its models on it. This version no longer names Anthropic's model. Inside the app the coach is no longer described by its provider's name either; the sign-up screens point here for it.

Nothing about what is collected, why, where it goes or how long it is kept has changed. Under § 11 this is housekeeping, recorded here only, and no one is asked to agree again. Read version 1.6
v1.6 · 18 Oct 2026
Material.

§ 2, § 3 and § 7: Being Me now has a waitlist. It holds the email address of people who do not have an account yet, what they agreed to on the form and when, where they signed up and, if they say, how they heard about us. It is used only to write to them about their place, when Being Me opens and launch offers, and every email lets them unsubscribe. An entry is deleted when they unsubscribe, ask, or create an account, and 12 months after Being Me opens to everyone at the latest.

§ 4: Google Fonts is removed. The typeface is now served from our own site, so loading a page no longer sends your IP address to Google. Resend will also send the waitlist emails.

A new category of information and a new purpose make this a material change under § 11. Neither applies to an existing account: nothing about how your account's information is handled has changed, so members are not asked to agree again. People who join the waitlist agree to it on the form. Read version 1.5
v1.5 · 11 Oct 2026
Material.

§ 3: a person at Being Me reads a goal's words, to put it in a category, only if you switch on Help shape Being Me. Version 1.4 said both that every grouping was checked by a person and that no one's goals were shown to anyone, which could not both be true. Administrators now see goals without their words or their owner, and categories reported outside Being Me need at least ten people behind them.

§ 2 describes the safety record the app keeps on your device, what it holds, and that it is now deleted after 12 months; version 1.4 mentioned it only in passing in § 4. § 2 also says plainly that what you write can include health and wellbeing information, lists two new choices on your Account page, and now lists everything else we hold: your signup agreement, plan, region and signup code, saved learning, hidden circles, reminders and one-time messages. It corrects what is kept of coach conversations.

§ 3 adds circle suggestions, story use only with your agreement, that nothing you write is used to train AI or for research, how goal-matched offers would work, and that marketing emails need your agreement. It replaces "we never use your data for profiling for marketing" and the summary's "there is no advertising on Being Me": matching an offer to your goals, if you turn offers on, is a form of both, and the policy should say so. It adds that the coach can be wrong and is not professional advice.

§ 4 names Google Fonts and Unsplash, which receive your IP address when a page loads. § 6 says who can read what you write (no one at Being Me) and what administrators can see, replacing "administrators see anonymised or aggregate data only". Version 1.4 said administrative access was logged before it was; admin screens now are. § 7 adds how long the safety record and the record of admin screen use are kept, and the one line, with no name or content, kept about an account when it is deleted. § 5 now covers every provider in § 4. § 8 corrects how a copy of your data and corrections are requested. § 10 describes what is kept in your browser in full.

§ 12: the contact address is now privacy@beingme.me. The beingme.app address it gave did not exist.

A new purpose and newly described information make this a material change under § 11. Every account created before this date was a test account held by the founder, so no one was asked to agree again; members agree to this version when they join. Read version 1.4
v1.4 · 10 Oct 2026
Substantive. No action needed.

§ 2 and § 7: the coach now has a fair-use limit, so each time you use it we record that a call was made and when, against your account. Not the message and not the reply. The record is used only to apply the limit, is never shown to anyone, and is deleted after 48 hours, or at once if your account is deleted.

No re-consent was required: this is a short-lived technical record of the kind § 2 already describes under Technical, kept for a new security measure, and no new third party receives anything. Read version 1.3
v1.3 · 28 Sep 2026
Material.

§ 2 now lists everything Being Me stores, where earlier versions had listed only the coaching core: aspirations, community posts, comments and circles, supporters and their notes, reports, people you invite by email and how long their address is kept, answers to "Has this helped?" and agreement to be quoted, your settings, and signup-code attempts.

§ 3 adds three purposes: sharing with other members and supporters, understanding in aggregate what kinds of goals members set, and quoting members who have agreed. It states that goal-matched offers, if ever introduced, will be opt-in and never involve selling or disclosing your data.

§ 4 names Resend, which delivers the emails Being Me sends, and describes what other members can see. § 7 adds how long invitations and signup-code attempts are kept.

A new category of information and a new service provider make this a material change under § 11. Every account created before this date was a test account held by the founder, so no one was asked to agree again; members agree to this version when they join. Read version 1.2
v1.2 · 27 Sep 2026
Substantive. No action needed.

Stated in § 4 where our database runs: on servers in the United States (Amazon Web Services, US East). The sign-up consent screen had said Sydney, Australia; that was wrong from the day the database moved, and it is corrected there too.

Removed the statement that your data was stored only on your device until public launch. It is stored with us now. Added what is kept on your device, and that it is removed when you sign out, and that the vision board is not yet stored with us.

Corrected § 2: check-ins have no fixed weekly rhythm, there is no separate journal, and the values-alignment score is collected alongside mood. Removed "once Supabase is in place" from § 6. The summary now says copies and deletion are made on request from your Account page, which is how they have always worked.

No re-consent was required: no new information is collected, no new third party receives anything, and no right has been reduced. Read version 1.1
v1.1 · 9 Sep 2026
Substantive. No action needed.

Added birth month and year to § 2. These are collected at signup to confirm eligibility, and are not collected from members who joined before this date.

Raised the minimum age from 16 to 18 in § 9, and rewrote that section to describe how the check actually works.

Stated in § 3 that age is never sent to the AI coach. Recorded in § 2 and § 8 that birth month and year cannot be edited in the app and are corrected on request. Added the change tiers in § 11 and this changelog.

No re-consent was required: no new information is collected from existing accounts, no new third party receives anything, and no right has been reduced.
