Your coach is an AI, not a human. It is guided by a coaching framework we wrote. It has no memory of you beyond what you put into Being Me, and no human reads your conversations.
It is a coaching tool, not therapy. Coaching works forward from where you are. It is not a substitute for a therapist, doctor, or crisis service, and it will say so plainly if something you raise belongs with a professional. Find a human coach →
It can be wrong. AI models make mistakes and can reflect bias. Treat what your coach says as a thoughtful prompt to think with, not an instruction to follow. Anything significant deserves your own judgement and, where it matters, a qualified opinion.
The full detail sits on About the AI: how the coach is built, what it is told, and where its limits are. It stays available inside the app.
What you write is yours. Your reflections, values, goals and check-ins are stored against your account and are visible only to you. Our database enforces that, not just our interface.
Your coaching inputs go to our AI provider in the United States. To reply to you as you, your coach is given what you send it along with the values, goals and reflections you have written here, and that is passed to our AI provider, named in the privacy policy. It is not used to train their models. Your email address and date of birth are never sent.
Some of it may be about your health. REACH asks about health and habits, and check-ins can touch on how you are feeling. That is used only for your coaching, it is never used for offers, and no one at Being Me reads what you write to your coach.
Your data is stored in the United States. Our database and servers run in the US, so your information leaves Australia to be stored there. You can ask for a copy of everything, or ask for it all to be deleted, at any time from your Account page.
Some of it is seen by others, if you choose. What you post in a Community circle is seen by that circle's members, and a supporter sees only the goal you invite them to. Emails we send, such as confirming your account or an invitation you ask us to send, are delivered by Resend in the US.
The full detail, including retention periods and your rights, is in the Privacy Policy.
Most tools start by asking what you want to achieve. We start by asking who you are. Your REACH profile and your values come first, because a goal built on someone else's definition of success will not survive contact with a hard week.
Once you know what you stand for, goals get easier to choose and harder to abandon. PACTS turns an intention into practices you repeat, a plan for when life gets in the way, checkpoints and support. And a goal you outgrow can be redirected or released, which is not the same as failing.
You check in whenever you want to. There is no schedule to keep and nothing to fall behind on. Your coach reads what you wrote against what you said you valued, and over time it starts noticing the patterns you cannot see from inside your own week. That accumulation is the point. It is also the part that cannot be rushed.
